(1ère Bac) Course Description: In this class, we'll explore different types of stories, poems, and plays to learn more about literature. We'll talk about how stories are put together, what they mean, and why they're important. You'll read a bunch of different things and talk about them with your classmates. We'll also write about what we read to practice expressing our thoughts. By the end of the class, you'll be better at understanding stories, and you'll have some new favorite books! Prerequisites Course Objectives: - Learn how to understand and talk about different kinds of stories and poems. - Explore why stories are written and how they relate to real life. - Get better at reading and writing in general. - Have fun discovering new books and authors. Assessment Methods: - Participation in class discussions and activities - Writing assignments about the things we read - Quizzes to check what you've learned - Working with classmates on projects and presentations - A final test at the end of the class Texts/Resources: - Books, poems, and plays from different times and places - Other stuff like articles or videos to help us understand the stories better
